My wife and I went along to a small event last night, October 15th,  at Roker, Sunderland.
We met some wonderful people, whom we shared a little time with. I took a few photos of the “Wave of light”.
As they let the Chinese Lanterns go in silence, they remembered their loved ones. It was not a night, for idle chit-chat.
As we left, although we both had tears in our eyes, we felt privileged to have been there in their time of remembrance.
