We meet on the 4th Monday of the month, throughout the year, in the wardens buildings in Herrington Country Park (opposite Penshaw Monument) from 1:30 till 3:30. At these meetings we hope to share our skills and learn ways to improve our photography. Also to prepare for our annual exhibition, held during the month of March. There is a small charge of £2 per meeting to help pay for hire of the room, tea, coffee etc.
On the 3rd Monday of the month (weather permitting), we try to organize trips out to various places of interest. We have been, for example, to Durham, Shildon Railway, Tynemouth and Woodhorn Colliery in Northumberland, to name but a few.
These outings take place in the months April to September.
Everyone one is made welcome.... The kettles always on.
